Over the past 6 months, I've had the opportunity to photograph Jackson and watch him grow. Getting to photograph his FIRST birthday was so amazing! With help from friends and family, Jennifer created the most wonderful first birthday party for her son that a child could hope for.
Not only did the party have plenty of candy, cake, bubbles, balloons, and food to bring the biggest smile to any child's face but nearby was a playground where the birthday boy and his friends could enjoy just being kids. But the party did not end here.
There was still yet another joy Jackson would discover: the satisfaction of smashing a birthday cake! A child's dream. The one time it's okay to get dirty and have sugar covering every inch of your face. At first, Jackson took it slowly; poking and looking as if not sure what to do with this cake in front of him. But it didn't take too long before he was covered in brown frosting. After some clean up and an outfit change it was on to presents. It was quite the day! A day that will never be forgotten by those who love him and a day that Jackson will later be able to look back at and smile. Happy Birthday Jackson!
